Fire breaks out at drip pipeline factory in Ieeja

Hyderabad: A fire erupted at a drip pipeline manufacturing unit in Ieeja town of Jogulamba Gadwal district on Saturday morning, triggering panic in the locality.

Flames engulfed drip pipes and other raw materials stored inside the premises. Thick smoke spread across nearby areas as the incident escalated.

Officials confirmed that no casualties occurred. However, the mishap caused considerable property damage.

As the flames extended beyond the compound wall, tension gripped villagers living close to the factory. Therefore, authorities immediately alerted the Fire and Rescue Services department.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot and began dousing operations. After nearly an hour of effort, personnel brought the situation under control.
