Fire accidents reported at three locations in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Fire accidents struck three locations in Hyderabad, with incidents in Red Hills, Jeedimetla, and Bahadurpally, while fire personnel controlled the flames and ensured no casualties.

In Red Hills, a fire broke out in a house around midnight on Wednesday after a short circuit in an air conditioner unit. Authorities evacuated the family and nearby residents as a precaution. Firefighters reached the spot and quickly put out the flames.

Meanwhile, a major fire erupted at a chemical solvent warehouse in Rangareddy Nagar, Jeedimetla, during the early hours of Thursday. The flames spread to a neighbouring unit and triggered panic as thick smoke filled the area.

Fire accidents raise concerns over safety as summer begins

Local residents alerted authorities, after which fire tenders and police rushed to the site and began firefighting operations. Additional units joined later and brought the situation under control without any reported injuries.

In a separate incident, a fire broke out at a decoration items godown in a residential area of Bahadurpally under Qutbullapur limits. The flames spread to an adjacent building, prompting immediate evacuation of occupants, including students and working professionals.

Fire personnel reached the location and put out the fire. Several vehicles sustained damage in the incident; however, no injuries or casualties were reported. Officials advised citizens to follow fire safety norms, especially during the summer season.
