Hyderabad: The Telangana government reconstituted the Fee Regulatory Committee to regulate fee structures in private unaided professional colleges and strengthen oversight mechanisms.
The government appointed retired judge Justice A. Gopal Reddy as chairman of the committee. It issued orders constituting the panel to oversee admissions and fee structures.
Fee regulatory committee includes university vice chancellors
The committee comprises 11 members, including the chairman. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman was included as a member.
The government also inducted vice chancellors of JNTU, Osmania University, Mahatma Gandhi University, and Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences into the panel. Officials said the move aims to strengthen oversight of fee regulation in professional colleges.
