Hyderabad: A fake drugs racket operating out of a medical store in Quthbullapur, Medchal district, triggered alarm across Hyderabad after Drug Control Administration officials uncovered counterfeit medicines during inspections.

The surprise raids targeted several pharmacies in the area. At Durga Medical and General Store, authorities found fake drugs being sold under popular brand names, with counterfeit labels and stickers affixed to the packaging. The store owner was booked and arrested on the spot.
