Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy paid floral tributes to former Assembly Speaker Duddilla Sripada Rao on his 27th death anniversary.
He visited his residence in Jubilee Hills and offered respects to the portrait. Ministers, MPs and MLAs also attended the programme. As a result, leaders gathered to recall his contributions.
The Chief Minister described Duddilla Sripada Rao as a leader who built a distinct identity in the Telugu states. He said Sripada Rao upheld dignity in every position he held. He noted that he rose from a Sarpanch to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

Revanth Reddy said Sripada Rao conducted Assembly proceedings with discipline and integrity. He added that his role strengthened the stature of the House. Therefore, he termed his public life exemplary.
He said Sripada Rao’s journey continued to inspire the present generation. In addition, he highlighted his commitment to democratic values and public service.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, MP Vem Narender Reddy and MLA Sanjay attended the programme.
