Dry weather likely to persist in Telangana, IMD forecasts light rain in May

HYDERABAD: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that dry weather will prevail across Telangana for the next two days, with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall in certain areas between 1 and 5 May.

According to the forecast, districts such as Adilabad, Jagtial, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mahbubnagar, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, and Rajanna Sircilla are likely to experience maximum temperatures ranging between 41°C and 44°C.

In other districts, the maximum temperature is expected to stay between 36°C and 40°C.

Given the intense heat, particularly in Rajanna Sircilla district, authorities have advised residents to avoid stepping out unnecessarily between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
