Dangerous bike stunts case leads to four arrests in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A Dangerous bike stunts case was registered by Attapur police after a two-wheeler rider was caught performing risky stunts on a public road, leading to the arrest of four persons.

According to police, the incident occurred on March 27 during patrol duty in the Attapur area. Police Constable C. Sabitha, along with another staff member, noticed a Honda Dio bearing registration number TS 09 FL 1262 being ridden dangerously near pillar number 143 towards Aramghar Road.

When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the rider allegedly drove in a rash and negligent manner. He also attempted to escape while continuing dangerous stunts, which posed a threat to public safety.

The complaint stated that such actions endangered human life and disrupted official duties. Based on this, a Dangerous bike stunts case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.

Dangerous bike stunts case registered under multiple sections

Police registered the Dangerous bike stunts case under Sections 125, 281 and 292 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with Sections 183, 184 and 190(2) of the Motor Vehicles Act.

The accused were identified as Md. Amer Baba, Mohammed Ashwak, Mohammed Sameeruddin and Mohammed Nashit Atas Mohammed Naseer. Their occupations range from technician and mechanic to driver and delivery worker.

Police said the accused were involved in acts that risked public safety on a busy road. The incident highlighted concerns over reckless riding and violation of traffic norms.

Dangerous bike stunts case accused sent to judicial remand

All four accused in the Dangerous bike stunts case were produced before a court on March 31. The court subsequently remanded them to judicial custody.

Police reiterated that rash and negligent driving would invite strict action. They also warned that such behaviour on public roads would not be tolerated.

Officials further stated that the public should immediately inform police if any habitual offenders or rowdy elements are found engaging in unlawful activities.

The Dangerous bike stunts case underscored ongoing enforcement efforts by Hyderabad police to curb traffic violations and ensure road safety.
