Hyderabad: Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha expressed anger over the Jadcherla hospital incident and ordered immediate action against those responsible.
Acting on his directions, Vaidya Vidhana Parishad Commissioner Dr Ajay Kumar visited the Jadcherla Area Hospital and initiated an inquiry. He gathered details from the deceased’s family members, police officials, eyewitnesses, doctors and hospital staff.
Following the preliminary investigation, authorities suspended Hospital Superintendent Dr Chandrakala, duty RMO Dr Harinath and duty Medical Officer Munisha. They also suspended mortuary supporting staff member Ravi Prakash for alleged negligence in discharge of duties.

The department stated that officials found lapses in supervision and handling of responsibilities. Based on the findings, the Commissioner ordered disciplinary action against those held accountable.
Moreover, Ajay Kumar said the government would take strict measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents. He warned that the department would not tolerate negligence in public healthcare institutions.
The inquiry process is continuing, and further action will follow based on the detailed report.
