Cyberabad Police launch revamped website for citizen transparency

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police have launched a newly designed official website aimed at delivering transparent, accessible services across age groups, Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra said in a statement on Monday.

Built with mobile-friendly, real-time functionality, the portal is designed to alert citizens promptly about key advisories, public safety updates, and police communications. Tech teams reworked the interface to make it clearer, faster, and easier to navigate.

One standout addition is the QR-based Citizen Feedback Scanner, which lets people rate police behaviour and service directly. The platform also makes it easier to apply online for event permits—everything from marathons and music gigs to film shoots.

For cybercrime victims, a dedicated account unfreezing link has been integrated, offering relief especially to those residing outside Hyderabad. The site also offers guidance on filing cybercrime complaints, streamlining victim support across jurisdictions.

Key contact details, officer roles, and comprehensive police station information are laid out in a simplified, user-intuitive format, the Commissioner added.
