Hyderabad: CPI district committee members on Thursday submitted a memorandum to Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. They urged immediate attention to several civic issues in Bonakal mandal.
The party leaders, Bezawada Ravibabu and Yangala Anandarao, requested the government to establish a new bus stand at the site of the existing agricultural market yard opposite Saibaba temple in Bonakal. They said the location was strategically situated between Khammam and Jaggayyapeta. Therefore, it is ideal for cross-border commuters.

The leaders also suggested relocating the agricultural market yard to another location. Additional demands included construction of a CC road to the cremation ground in Motamarri village. Moreover, they requested setting up a cattle market in Bonakal.
They urged the government to lay a road from Brahmanapalli to Rapalle, stating it would help local farmers. The memorandum also called for land allotments for journalists and the sanction of Indiramma housing.
Other key requests included installing streetlights on the ROB at Bonakal mandal centre. They also called for sanctioning a new building for the Palle Dawakhana in Mushtikunta.
CPI district committee member Jakkula Ramarao, mandal assistant secretary Burri Nageshwar Rao, Akkena Pavan, and local leaders from Motamarri and Kalakota were among those who signed the representation.
