Hyderabad: Senior Communist Party of India (CPI) leader and freedom fighter Dodda Narayanarao died at his residence on Friday night. He was 96.
CPI national leader Narayana expressed condolences, calling him a principled figure who remained committed to his ideology until his final breath. Narayanarao served as CPI Nalgonda district secretary and also held the post of general secretary of the district farmers’ union.
He participated in the armed struggle against the Nizam regime during the 1940s, according to party leaders.
