Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar conveyed Holi greetings to citizens and urged them to celebrate the festival in a responsible and respectful manner.
In a message posted on X, he described Holi as a symbol of the triumph of good over evil. He wished that the festival of colours brings fresh happiness and joy to everyone.
Holi greetings stress safety and mutual respect
Sajjanar advised people to ensure that their celebrations do not inconvenience others while playing with colours. He particularly urged revellers to treat women and children with respect during the festivities.
He further appealed to citizens to maintain dignity while celebrating and cooperate with the police in safeguarding law and order.
The Commissioner emphasised that collective responsibility and mutual respect would ensure peaceful celebrations across the city.
