Hyderabad: COVID-19 has resurfaced in the Telugu states, with Andhra Pradesh confirming four new cases amid ongoing health surveillance.
Three cases were reported from Visakhapatnam and one from Kadapa, according to officials.
The Andhra Pradesh government has assured the public that the health department is fully equipped, with COVID-19 testing kits available across the state. He urged people not to panic, emphasising that health authorities are operating with full vigilance.
Meanwhile, in Telangana, a doctor from Hyderabad’s Kukatpally area who had tested positive has now fully recovered. Health officials stated that none of the doctor’s family members or close contacts have shown symptoms of infection, though they continue to be monitored as a precaution.
Authorities in both states have reiterated that there is no need for public alarm, but encouraged continued adherence to basic precautions.
