Congress celebrates Ugadi at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Congress leaders celebrated Ugadi at Gandhi Bhavan, with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka attending as the chief guest at the state party office.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud led the Congress Ugadi celebrations. During the event, scholar Chilukuri Srinivas Murthy presented the Panchanga Sravanam. Meanwhile, party leaders and workers participated in large numbers, marking the Telugu New Year with traditional fervour.

Addressing the gathering, Bhatti Vikramarka appreciated the arrangements. He also said the new year should bring progress and success to people across all sectors. Further, he expressed hope that negative forces would decline in the Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram.

At the same time, he stressed that every family should live with prosperity and happiness. Moreover, he said the government is working to create employment opportunities for youth. He added that the upcoming budget would address the needs of all sections.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Kumar Goud extended Ugadi greetings to people and party workers. He noted that the government is delivering governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

In addition, he said guidance from Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi continues to strengthen the party. He also called on workers to ensure welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.

Finally, Mahesh Kumar Goud urged people to live in harmony. He emphasized that collective efforts would help maintain peace and progress in the state.
