Community Contact Program conducted in Mangalhat with seizures

Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police conducted a Community Contact Program in Mangalhat on April 11 under the Golconda Zone limits.

The team carried out the operation between 6 am and 8 am under the supervision of B. Krishna Goud, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Golconda Zone. Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioners of Police S. Sudarshan of Goshamahal Division and V. Thirupathi of Kulsumpura Division joined the exercise. Inspector S. Raghavendra and Additional Inspector P. Mahender of Mangalhat police station led field teams. In addition, all SHOs of Golconda Zone, along with their teams, CAR Headquarters staff, and Mangalhat police staff, took part. In total, 184 personnel joined the deployment.

Teams covered the Jummerath Bazar stretch from Lalabhavan to Rahul Footwear. They also checked Lalabhavan to Kunna Pan Shop and Lala Talim to Takkarwadi. Further, they extended the drive from Bude Baba Hanuman Temple to Lower Dhoolpet, including adjoining lanes.

Officers conducted house-to-house searches and verifications during the Community Contact Program. They focused on identifying unauthorised storage and suspicious activity.

Community Contact Program leads to seizure of vehicles and gas cylinders

During the Community Contact Program, police seized 28 two-wheelers. They also recovered Indian Made Foreign Liquor, including whisky and beer, measuring about 49.4 litres.

Further, teams detected 22 empty commercial gas cylinders, 12 domestic gas cylinders, and 79 small gas cylinders. Officers documented and secured all seized items during the checks.

Police conducted the Community Contact Program to enhance public safety and strengthen confidence among residents. At the same time, they aimed to deter anti-social elements through visible enforcement.

The teams completed the operation after covering all identified areas within the scheduled time.
