Commissioner reviews town planning issues in Cyberabad Municipal Corporation

Hyderabad: Commissioner of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, G. Srijana, reviewed town planning matters during a meeting with officials.

Officials discussed several urban planning and regulatory issues during the review.

The discussion covered building permissions, action against unauthorised constructions and the status of court cases related to town planning.

Officials also reviewed junction improvement works, encroachment removal drives and road widening projects.

The Commissioner instructed officials to clear pending cases quickly. She also stressed the need for strong coordination among departments.

Officials must ensure timely disposal of town planning matters, she said.

The Commissioner directed teams to speed up building permission approvals and process layout regularisation scheme (LRS) applications faster.

She asked field teams to strengthen monitoring to prevent illegal constructions.

The Commissioner also told officials to address public grievances related to town planning without delay.

She said quick action and better coordination would improve urban management within the Municipal Corporation limits.
