Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srijana on Monday carried out a CMC field inspection with MLA Arekapudi Gandhi in Miyapur to review infrastructure works and address citizen concerns.
Officials from town planning, projects, maintenance, and irrigation departments joined the CMC field inspection. The team assessed key works in the Miyapur circle during the morning visit.
They inspected road widening works at Sridevi Theatre lane on Ameenpur Road. These works aim to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area.
The team also visited Bandamkommu Lake Road and Ameenpur. During the CMC field inspection, the Commissioner reviewed proposals to widen roads along the lake stretch to improve connectivity and accessibility.
Officials prioritised these works after receiving multiple representations from residents. Citizens had raised concerns over traffic bottlenecks and limited road access in the locality.

Srijana directed officials to speed up execution within fixed timelines. She also asked departments to coordinate closely to avoid delays during the CMC field inspection follow-up.
She emphasised the need to maintain quality standards while minimising inconvenience to the public. Officials were instructed to ensure smooth implementation of all ongoing works.
The Commissioner said the civic body would continue focusing on citizen issues. She added that the field inspection reflected its commitment to responsive governance and improved urban infrastructure across all circles.
