Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Matt Meyer, Governor of Delaware in the United States, and discussed cooperation in key sectors.
During the meeting, the leaders held discussions on reforms in the health and education sectors. They also exchanged views on governance initiatives and public welfare programmes.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu attended the meeting. Meanwhile, Lauren Meyer, First Lady of Delaware, and senior officials were also present.
Revanth Reddy and Matt Meyer discuss welfare initiatives
Governor Matt Meyer explained welfare schemes implemented in Delaware for poor and middle-class families. These include housing programmes, loan relief measures and other public welfare initiatives.
The discussion also covered issues related to data protection and universal health care systems.
Meanwhile, Matt Meyer invited Revanth Reddy to visit Delaware along with a Telangana delegation. He expressed confidence that relations between Telangana and Delaware would strengthen further in the coming years.
