Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reviewed preparations for Godavari Pushkaralu 2027 and directed officials to fast-track planning and execution. The Godavari Pushkaralu review focused on infrastructure, temple development and ghat expansion.
He held a high-level meeting with the Cabinet Sub-Committee and senior officials. Moreover, officials presented detailed proposals covering the Godavari stretch from Basara to Bhadrachalam.
The presentation outlined the development of temples and Pushkar ghats. In addition, it listed works to be completed ahead of the festival.

The Chief Minister directed officials to form a technical engineers committee. The team will identify suitable locations for ghats and conduct field visits.
He asked the committee to submit its report within 15–20 days. Subsequently, an officials’ panel will prepare estimates and submit a detailed report to the Cabinet Sub-Committee.
Revanth Reddy said the Cabinet will take the final decision after reviewing proposals. Meanwhile, he stressed the need for timely execution.
He instructed officials to plan both permanent and temporary works in phases. Furthermore, he ordered the setup of a dedicated war room at Praja Bhavan for coordination.
The Chief Minister directed the expansion of ghats at major temples and tourist locations. In addition, he asked departments to improve road connectivity and interlink routes.
He also reviewed the master plan for the development of the Gnana Saraswati Temple. Consequently, he issued directions for its expansion.
Ministers, public representatives and senior officials attended the meeting.
