Plaster falls from Charminar Minaret amidst heavy rain, no injuries reported

HYDERABAD: Amidst heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds in Hyderabad, a section of plaster fell from one of Charminar’s minarets near the Bhagyalakshmi Temple on Thursday. The incident prompted tourists to vacate the area promptly; however, no injuries were reported.

Authorities, upon being informed, arrived at the scene to assess the situation. They cleared the fallen debris and confirmed that the affected minaret had undergone repairs previously. Officials have assured that further restoration work will be undertaken to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
