Central Bank holds mega retail outreach in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Central Bank of India organised a mega retail outreach programme in the Hyderabad region on Sunday and sanctioned retail loans worth ₹235 crore during the campaign period.

The event marked a push to expand retail credit and deepen customer engagement. On the campaign day alone, the bank issued in-principle sanction letters aggregating ₹12 crore.

Executive Director M. V. Murali Krishna addressed the gathering and said the bank was offering competitive interest rates under various schemes. These included Grihalakshmi Housing Loan, home loans, gold loans and vehicle loans. He stated that the bank’s strong CASA base and comfortable liquidity position enabled it to extend customer-friendly lending rates.

He added that customers remained the institution’s true brand ambassadors and the foundation of its sustained growth.

The programme was attended by K. Dharasing Naik, Zonal Head – Hyderabad, N. Janardhan Rao, Managing Director of NJR Constructions, and Ravi Polishetty, Managing Director of Kranti Constructions, along with senior officials and customers.

Sharing his experience, N. Janardhan Rao said he began his banking journey with a deposit of ₹500 and now availed credit facilities exceeding ₹100 crore, maintaining an exclusive relationship with the bank.

During the interactive session, customers appreciated the guidance provided by branch managers in selecting suitable financial products. Bank officials said the strong response to the mega retail outreach programme reflected growing trust among customers in the Hyderabad region.
