Police recover 23 lost mobile phones using CEIR in Pahadishareef

Hyderabad: The mobile phone recovery drive by the Pahadishareef police led to the retrieval of 23 lost devices using CEIR technology.

Police used the Central Equipment Identity Register system to trace the missing phones. They later handed over the recovered devices to their rightful owners at the police station.

Victims had earlier reported the loss or theft of their mobile phones. They expressed satisfaction and thanked the police for tracing the devices.

Inspector B. Lakshmi Narayana Reddy and the police team carried out the recovery with technical support. The ACP of the RGI Division and the DCP of the Shamshabad Zone appreciated the team’s efforts.

Officials said the initiative reflects the effective use of technology in resolving public complaints quickly. It also highlights the proactive approach of the police in addressing grievances.

Police advised citizens to report lost or stolen phones immediately. They also urged the public to use CEIR services to block and trace devices.

The department reiterated its commitment to public service and asked citizens to cooperate for better security.
