BRS workshop for MLAs, MLCs begins at Gandipet resort

Hyderabad: A workshop of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs and MLCs began on Tuesday at Golconda Resort in Gandipet.

The one-day programme brought together party legislators to discuss strategy for the upcoming Assembly budget session.

Party Working President K. T. Rama Rao attended the workshop. BRS Legislature Party Deputy Leader T. Harish Rao also participated.

Senior leaders Sabitha Indra Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Assembly Whip K. P. Vivekananda were present at the programme.

Experts are briefing MLAs and MLCs on legislative procedures during the workshop.

BRS leaders discuss Assembly strategy at workshop

Legal experts and political analysts are explaining Assembly and Legislative Council procedures to the participants.

They are also discussing the rule book and constitutional provisions related to legislative functioning.

The workshop will focus on issues that BRS plans to raise during the Assembly budget sessions.

Party leaders are also discussing strategies to be adopted by the opposition in the legislature.

During the workshop, K. T. Rama Rao will deliver the opening address and guide legislators on political and legislative strategy.

Senior leaders will also brief MLAs and MLCs on recent developments in the state.

The discussion will include major incidents that occurred recently and issues related to the functioning of the Congress government.

Party leaders will advise legislators on how to raise these matters effectively during Assembly and Council proceedings.
