Hyderabad: Brass band and bugle training for 53 personnel at the Telangana Police Academy concluded on Friday. Director General of Police Dr Jitender attended the valediction as the chief guest.
The DGP said the trained contingents will now take part in performances on Independence Day, Republic Day, and Telangana Formation Day events. Participants were selected from various police units across the state.
The batch included head constables, constables, and home guards. Training was conducted over four months. Instruments covered included clarinet, drums, trumpet, French horn, and trombone.
Select trainees were given awards and cash prizes for their performance. Academy Joint Director D Murali Dhar, Deputy Directors N Venkateswarlu and Sridevi, and Assistant Directors were present at the event, along with the trainees.
