Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy launches Bhubharathi portal pilot in five mandals

Hyderabad: The Bhubharathi portal pilot will begin on April 2 in five mandals, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said, marking a key step to resolve land disputes through an integrated digital platform.

He said the initiative aligned with the vision of Revanth Reddy and aimed to introduce lasting reforms in the Revenue department. The government designed the portal to bring transparency and efficiency by integrating land, survey, and registration services into a single system.

The minister said the government would review the Bhubharathi portal pilot and make necessary changes based on its performance. He made the remarks during a teleconference with revenue officials while on a visit to Kerala.

He said officials must ensure that the public, especially farmers, face no difficulty while using the platform. He added that the system had been designed from the farmer’s perspective.

The Bhubharathi portal pilot will roll out in Kusumanchi mandal of Khammam district, Aswaraopeta mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Amangal mandal of Ranga Reddy district, Vatpally mandal of Sangareddy district, and Kosgi mandal of Narayanpet district.

The minister directed district collectors to closely monitor the implementation and maintenance of the portal. He said the pilot phase would help assess operational efficiency before wider expansion.

Moreover, the Bhubharathi portal pilot aims to reduce dependence on physical visits for land services. Farmers will no longer need to visit MeeSeva centres for routine transactions.

Bhubharathi portal pilot to simplify land services for farmers

The minister said the portal would allow farmers to access land-related services directly from their homes. As a result, they can avoid repeated visits to officials for resolving land boundary disputes.

He said once a farmer logs into the system, land ownership details will appear instantly. In addition, authorities will upload survey maps to the portal after completion of surveys.

Furthermore, the system will send SMS alerts to registered mobile numbers at every stage of the process. This includes updates from application submission to completion of registration.

The minister said land disputes had become a major challenge for farmers. Therefore, the Bhubharathi portal pilot represents a significant step toward a permanent solution.

He added that the government was introducing a transparent system to deliver services directly to citizens. He said this marked the beginning of a major transformation in the state’s revenue administration.
