Bhatti Vikramarka says poll promises being implemented

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday said the government was ensuring poll promises implementation and delivering on commitments made before the elections.

Addressing a public meeting at Pipri in Adilabad district, he said the leadership understood people’s issues through the Praja March. He added that the initiative helped shape policies aligned with public needs.

He said power was not a position but a responsibility. Therefore, the government focused on fulfilling assurances through poll promises implementation.

Bhatti Vikramarka said leaders from other states had asked how Telangana was executing multiple schemes simultaneously. He said the government aimed to create conditions where people would feel proud to be born in the State.

Poll promises implementation through welfare schemes

The Deputy Chief Minister said the government introduced the Indiramma Bima scheme with ₹5 lakh coverage for every family. He said the scheme reflected the commitment to poll promises implementation.

He added that the government transferred ₹9,000 crore into farmers’ accounts within nine days. He said this step provided immediate financial relief to farmers.

He also said authorities were providing Indiramma houses to the poor who lacked housing. In addition, he said the government was constructing Young India Integrated Schools across the State to build an inclusive society.

Poll promises implementation linked to development agenda

Bhatti Vikramarka recalled that the Praja March began from Pipri. He said the then PCC chief, now Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, had promised to implement all commitments.

He asserted that the government would honour every assurance under the poll promises implementation agenda. He added that the State would generate income and redistribute it for public welfare.
