HYDERABAD: A shocking accident took place on the outskirts of Bengaluru, where a water tanker lost control and overturned multiple times on the road, leaving two people injured. The incident occurred in the Dommasandra-Whitefield region while the vehicle was en route to Varthur.
According to initial reports, the tanker was being driven at high speed. While attempting to overtake another vehicle, the driver lost control, causing the heavy vehicle to flip several times before coming to a halt.
The driver and the cleaner of the tanker sustained injuries in the crash. Alert local residents immediately rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Following the accident, traffic congestion was reported in the area. Meanwhile, authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
Dramatic footage of the accident, captured on the dashcam of a vehicle ahead, has since gone viral on social media, drawing attention to the dangers of reckless driving on Bengaluru roads.
