BC Commission reviews reservations in TGSPDCL

Hyderabad: BC Commission chairman G Niranjan led a review of reservation implementation in TGSPDCL and examined alleged irregularities affecting BC employees.

Commission members Rapolu Jayaprakash, Tirumalagiri Surender, and Balalakshmi visited the power distribution company’s office and held detailed discussions with officials and employee representatives.

Officials, including CMD Jitesh V. Patil and Director C. H. Chakrapani, attended the meeting along with senior staff. Representatives of the Telangana Electricity BC Employees Association, led by Kumaraswamy, also took part.

BC Commission seeks data on recruitment and promotions

The BC Commission directed the organisation to submit recruitment details from 2014 to 2026. It asked officials to furnish complete data for examination.

The panel also instructed the company to form a committee to review pending court cases. The committee will examine promotions, seniority, and related service matters.

Further, the BC Commission directed the organisation to provide infrastructure for the BC cell established earlier. It asked officials to ensure proper facilities for its functioning.

Assistant Secretary K Manohar Rao, Special Officer N Sunitha, Section Officers G Satish Kumar, and Research Officer G Lakshminarayana attended the meeting along with other staff.
