Attapur bike stunts case leads to arrest of four for reckless riding

Hyderabad: Police arrested four persons in the Attapur bike stunts case and remanded them to judicial custody after booking them for reckless riding and traffic violations.

The action followed an incident on March 27, 2026, when a patrol team noticed a युवक performing dangerous stunts on a Honda Dio near Attapur, between Pillar No. 143 and Aramghar Road. When officers signalled him to stop, the rider attempted to escape and drove in a rash manner, posing a serious risk to commuters.

Based on a complaint lodged by a police constable, authorities identified four accused and registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act.

The accused were identified as Md. Amer Baba (21), an AC technician from New Allapur, Borabanda; Mohammed Ashwak (19), a bike mechanic from New Hafeezpet, Miyapur; Mohammed Sameeruddin (26), a car driver from BS Maktha, Begumpet; and Mohammed Nashit alias Atas Mohammed Naseer (20), a Zepto delivery worker originally from Parbhani, Maharashtra, currently residing in Khairathabad.
