Hyderabad: The Sudheer Reddy murder created shock across Hyderabad after unidentified attackers brutally killed an Armed Reserve constable in Uppal police station limits on Sunday.

The victim, AR Constable Sudheer Reddy, was attacked near the Sai Baba temple in Chilkanagar. According to preliminary reports, four unidentified assailants intercepted him in the busy locality.

The attackers then stabbed him repeatedly with knives in full public view. The incident occurred in broad daylight, leaving residents in the area frightened.

Locals noticed the constable lying in a pool of blood after the attack. The Sudheer Reddy murder quickly drew attention as it happened in a crowded part of the city.

Police said Sudheer Reddy lived in the RTC Colony area of Chengicherla. Investigators suspect that the Sudheer Reddy murder may have occurred due to an old rivalry.
