HYDERABAD: A tragic road accident in Karnataka claimed the lives of four individuals from Andhra Pradesh when a Bolero vehicle lost control and crashed into a bridge.
According to police, the victims were residents of Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district. They were travelling to Karnataka in a Bolero to purchase sheep. While heading towards Shahpur in Yadgir district, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle near Amrapur Cross in Devadurga taluk, causing it to ram into a bridge.
The deceased were identified as Nagaraju, Soma, Nagabhushan, and Murali. The driver, Anand, survived with injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital by local residents for treatment.
Gabboor Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
