Advocate stabbed to death in Attapur; police launch probe

Hyderabad: An advocate was stabbed to death inside his office in Suleman Nagar under Attapur police limits on Saturday, prompting a police probe.

The victim, Mohammed Khadeer, faced an attack from his first wife’s brothers, police said. The accused entered the office and first struck the advocate with an iron rod. They then stabbed him repeatedly. He sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. The attackers fled immediately after the assault.

Police said the advocate had married twice. After his second marriage, he reportedly stopped visiting his first wife’s house. Investigators suspect that anger over this issue triggered the attack.

Advocate murder in Attapur under investigation

According to police, the accused hit the advocate on the head with a rod, causing him to collapse. Subsequently, they stabbed him six times, leading to fatal injuries.

Attapur police rushed to the scene upon receiving information and began the investigation. The Clues Team collected evidence from the office. Moreover, officers started examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects.

Police shifted the advocate’s body to a government hospital for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, special teams launched a search operation to trace and arrest the accused. Further investigation continues.
