Hyderabad: An accidental gunshot fired by a security guard at the State Bank of India branch in Adilabad town triggered panic among staff and customers on Tuesday. No injuries were reported.
The incident occurred when the on-duty security personnel was loading his firearm. A live round was discharged and hit the ceiling, narrowly avoiding any casualties.
The sudden gunfire caused alarm inside the bank, but the situation was quickly brought under control. Bank officials reviewed the scene and instructed staff to adhere strictly to safety protocols.
