Hyderabad: In a fresh development in the ongoing Formula E-car Race investigation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued a notice to senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar, summoning him for questioning on July 1.
Arvind Kumar is currently on leave and abroad in Europe for his daughter’s convocation. He is expected to return to Hyderabad on June 30, a day before the scheduled ACB appearance.
The summons follows the second round of questioning of former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) in connection with the case. Based on new information obtained during KTR’s interrogation, the ACB has now moved to include Arvind Kumar in its inquiry.
The case pertains to alleged irregularities in the organisation of the Formula E-car Race in Hyderabad.
