The hospital atmosphere soon turned unbearable. Friends, neighbours, and volunteers tried to console the victims’ families, yet the sight of their anguish moved everyone to tears. Moreover, people who had come to offer support could not hold back their emotions as they witnessed the despair.
Among the victims were three sisters — Tanoosha, Saipriya, and Nandini. Their parents wept inconsolably, struggling to accept the loss. The mother said through tears that no one could ever bring back her daughters. Furthermore, she recalled that the girls had come home last week for a relative’s wedding and stayed only because she asked them to. However, they left early that morning for their exams and never returned.
She alleged that the tipper driver, who was drunk, drove rashly and ended their lives. “I had five children — four girls and one boy — but now only two remain,” she said. Additionally, she explained that the family had worked tirelessly to educate the three sisters, all of whom studied in Hyderabad.
A few moments later, the grieving mother fainted from exhaustion. Relatives quickly brought her water and tried to comfort her. Eventually, hospital staff completed the post-mortem examinations and handed over the bodies to the parents for final rites. The sorrow that gripped the hospital reflected the magnitude of the tragedy.
