Palnadu: Nannam Shrutilaya, a 12-year-old student from Gurazala town in Andhra Pradesh’s Palnadu district, has won accolades after completing her SSC (Class 10) examinations at an unusually young age and securing top marks at her school.
According to the SSC results released on Wednesday, Shrutilaya scored an impressive 568 marks out of 600, emerging as the top performer at the Gurazala Government High School. Her academic feat has drawn praise from teachers, local residents, and education authorities.
Shrutilaya’s father, Venkat, is a lawyer, while her mother, Nandini, is a homemaker. Despite her young age, she was determined to take the board exams this year. Initially, education officials did not permit her to appear for the exams due to her age. However, her father intervened and obtained special permission from higher authorities, enabling her to sit for the tests.
Of the 50 students who appeared for the SSC exam from her school this year, Shrutilaya secured the highest score. The remarkable achievement has sparked widespread admiration, with teachers and community members congratulating her on her success.
