100 Telangana Public Schools to be launched this academic year

Hyderabad: The State government will launch 100 Telangana Public Schools from this academic year as a pilot project, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced on Thursday.

Accordingly, the Telangana Public Schools will come up in one Assembly constituency each outside Hyderabad city. They will be developed on the lines of Telangana Public School, Arutla in Manchala mandal of Rangareddy district.

The government will provide teaching-friendly classrooms, sports grounds, adequate staff and transport facilities in these institutions. Thus, the model aims to strengthen public schooling standards across constituencies.

Telangana Public Schools plan reviewed at education meet

Under this initiative, authorities will construct 12 integrated schools with modern infrastructure. In addition, they will upgrade 164 schools and enhance facilities in 17 CURE institutions.
