Hyderabad: The Telangana Group-1 recruitment row deepened on Tuesday, as a selected candidate challenged the cancellation of the March 10, 2025 results in the High Court Division Bench.
The candidate filed an appeal against the Single Bench verdict, which annulled the results earlier this month. He argued that his selection followed due process and urged the court not to invalidate his appointment.
At the same time, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) submitted a separate appeal. The Commission said the Single Bench failed to consider its arguments fully. It defended the recruitment process and sought a stay on the cancellation order.
With both appeals now before the Division Bench, the court is expected to hear the matter soon. Legal experts say appointments will likely stay on hold until the case reaches a final decision.
