Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police declared Ramoji Film City a no-fly and no-drone zone ahead of the visit of the President and Vice President of India scheduled for December 19 and 20.
The restriction applies to the entire area around Abdullapurmet, where the film city is located. Commissioner of Police G. Sudheer Babu issued the order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, to ensure VVIP security and maintain public order.

The police prohibited the use of drones, UAVs, RPAS, paragliders, microlight aircraft, camera-equipped kites, balloons, and similar aerial objects without prior written approval. Officials warned that any violation would invite legal action under applicable laws.
The directive remains in force for both days of the visit. Authorities have urged citizens and drone operators to comply with the restrictions to avoid penal consequences.
