HYDERABAD: In a surprising development, the management of Bharat College locked the premises allocated to the Maheshwaram government medical college in Ranga Reddy district, citing unpaid rent.
According to the management of Bharat College, the action was taken after the government medical college authorities failed to clear the pending rent dues. As a result, the college board was removed, and the premises were sealed.
Faculty members expressed concern, stating that the building assigned to the Maheshwaram government medical college lacked adequate facilities, causing significant inconvenience to both staff and students.
The management of Bharat College confirmed that the lockout was due to the government’s failure to pay the agreed rent for the premises, leading them to take this drastic step.
