Ycp Mp Ayodhya Ramireddy Denies Party Switch

Hyderabad, January 28: Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP) MP Ayodhya Ramireddy has denied reports suggesting his possible exit from the party, following the resignation of senior leader Vijayasai Reddy from the Rajya Sabha. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ramireddy called the rumours baseless and reaffirmed his commitment to the party.

Addressing the speculation, Ramireddy acknowledged the ups and downs in politics. He stated, “True leaders are those who endure the pressures of defeats in elections and stand firm.” He also highlighted the challenges faced by MLCs, pointing out the impact of political pressure on their decisions.

Regarding Vijayasai Reddy’s resignation, Ramireddy said it was a personal decision and that only Reddy himself could explain the reasons behind it. He emphasised that Reddy is not someone who succumbs to pressure and suggested that the decision might be unrelated to external political factors.

Ramireddy stressed the importance of resilience in politics, saying, “It is during challenging times that we must fight and stay strong. Only then can the party sustain itself.” He noted that those who have long been in politics understand the struggles involved, unlike individuals who enter from other fields.

The statement comes amid heightened speculation about shifting political allegiances in the YCP, but Ramireddy’s remarks suggest his continued loyalty to the party.
