Hyderabad: A two-day police duty meet in Nagarkurnool wrapped up on Friday with Telangana officers recognised for their skills in crime and scientific investigation. The event, led by DIG L.S. Chauhan, aimed to boost professional capabilities and strengthen field procedures to stop criminals exploiting technical gaps.
Personnel from across the undivided Mahabubnagar district took part in events testing their core policing competencies. DIG Chauhan said these meets help build sharper investigative instincts and uphold standards in evidence handling.
Officers who excelled at the duty meet will represent their units at upcoming state and national-level contests. Medals, trophies, and certificates were presented to encourage top performers.
Superintendents of Police Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath, D. Janaki, Yogesh Gautham, Giridhar, and Additional SP C.H. Rameshwar Rao attended the concluding programme.
Jogulamba Gadwal district police made a notable showing with 12 medals, including three gold, six silver, and three bronze. SP Srinivas Rao praised his team’s consistency and lauded their discipline and readiness for future challenges.
