Hyderabad: A woman was killed and her husband injured after an RTC bus hit their motorcycle in Bhongir town of Yadadri district on Saturday morning.
The couple, identified as Silweru Satyanarayana and Mallamma from Moggumpally village under Bibinagar mandal, were riding towards Bhongir when the bus rammed into them from behind near Jamkhan Guda junction.
Mallamma died on the spot under the impact, while Satyanarayana sustained injuries. Locals alerted police, who reached the scene and shifted the injured man to hospital.
Bhongir Town police registered a case and launched an investigation into the RTC bus accident.
