Hyderabad: AIMIM Yakutpura MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj, Charminar MLA Mir Zulfeqar Ali, and MLC Mirza Riyaz Ul Hasan Effendi on Monday inspected the Bibi Ka Alam procession route ahead of Moharram. They were joined by DCP South Zone, Sneha Mehra and officials from GHMC, Hyderabad Police, and HMWS&SB.
The team carried out inspections at several crucial points along the procession route—Bibi Ka Alawa, Shaik Faiz Ki Kamaan, Chadaou Ki Masjid, and Masjid-e-Elahi among them. They reviewed ongoing civic work and stressed the need to finish it on time to avoid any disruptions during the event.
The legislators discussed security arrangements with DCP Mehra, who assured them that adequate measures would be implemented to ensure safety along the entire route.
AIMIM representatives and civic officials are jointly working to finalise all required preparations, prioritising both infrastructure readiness and law and order for the upcoming Moharram procession.
