Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s quiet return to AIG Hospital on Saturday has once again stirred speculation around his health. This was his second visit in as many days, and sources say he underwent a full battery of medical tests.
KCR wasn’t alone former ministers K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao were by his side, drawing further attention to the visit. His public appearances have been sporadic lately, and those who’ve seen him say he hasn’t looked like his usual self.
Once known for his tireless energy, the BRS chief has recently been spotted leaning on security personnel while walking an unusual sight for a man once seen as unstoppable. He’s been largely out of political action since suffering a leg injury after the Assembly elections. Although he briefly stepped out during the Lok Sabha campaign, his political involvement has been minimal since.
These days, KCR is mostly at his farmhouse, away from the daily political grind. But with local body elections on the horizon, all eyes are on whether he’ll step back into the fray or continue to stay in the shadows.
