Hyderabad: In a swift breakthrough, police have arrested two men involved in a robbery case in the Attapur area of Ranga Reddy district, recovering cash, a motorcycle, and mobile phones linked to the crime.
The accused have been identified as Sardar Harbhajan Singh Bedi (22), a private employee at IDFC Bank, residing in Sick Chawani, Attapur, and Sachin Pawar alias Jarpula Sachin Pawar (20), an office boy employed with Durga Agency, also a resident of Attapur and originally from Bidar district in Karnataka.
The arrests were made late on the night of 22 May at around 10:45 PM. The duo was taken into custody and is being presented before the competent court.
During the operation, police seized ₹2,500 in cash, a Pulsar motorcycle allegedly used during the incident, and two mobile phones. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the suspects are connected to any additional cases in the region.
Officials have reiterated their commitment to tackling street crimes and have encouraged the public to report suspicious activity promptly.
