HYDERABAD: Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy described the Bharat Summit 2025, currently taking place in Hyderabad, as a historic event highlighting Telangana’s leadership in promoting social justice and progressive values.
Speaking to the media, he said that the summit had brought together approximately 450 foreign delegates from over 100 countries, representing prominent left-liberal and progressive parties from across the globe. He noted that the summit focused on addressing various forms of justice — social, economic, and environmental — with the overarching theme of delivering global justice.
Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed pride in the event being hosted in Hyderabad, stating that it was a moment of great pride for Telangana. He emphasised that the state had an opportunity to showcase itself as a model of inclusive governance and social harmony.
He added that he was confident the summit’s deliberations would result in a meaningful resolution, endorsed by all participating parties.
