Hyderabad, January 26: The Telangana government has commenced the disbursement of financial assistance under the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ and ‘Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa’ schemes. Beneficiaries are set to receive funds credited to their accounts starting from midnight. Under the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ scheme, farmers cultivating crops will receive Rs. 6,000 per acre. Similarly, the ‘Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa’ scheme provides Rs. 6,000 to landless agricultural families. Given that today is a Sunday, officials have indicated that the funds will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts after midnight. From this season onwards, the government has announced an annual assistance of Rs. 12,000 per acre under the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ scheme. Initially, Rs. 6,000 per acre will be credited, followed by subsequent installments based on landholding sizes. The government has also launched four welfare schemes today: ‘Rythu Bharosa’, ‘Atmiya Bharosa’, ‘Indiramma Illu’, and the issuance of ration cards. The identification process for beneficiaries will continue from tomorrow until March. These schemes will be implemented in select villages across each mandal. The government has provided an opportunity until the end of this month for farmers to submit necessary documents to cluster agricultural extension officers to rectify issues such as obtaining new pattadar passbooks or correcting bank account details. Officials will review these details to ensure eligible farmers receive the investment assistance. Additionally, the agriculture department is updating records to remove non-cultivable land from the portal, ensuring that only cultivable land is considered for assistance. This process is expected to be completed within the next two to three days, after which the distribution of ‘Rythu Bharosa’ assistance will proceed.
