HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy appealed to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to extend all necessary support to the state government in organizing various international programs and initiatives aimed at elevating Telangana’s global stature over the next 25 years.
The Chief Minister met with Jaishankar in Delhi on Thursday, where he briefed him on the details of several prestigious international events scheduled to take place in Hyderabad in 2025. These include Miss World, the Global Deep Tech Summit, the Bharat Summit, the Animation Gaming and VFX Summit, as well as India Joy, which aims to showcase Telangana as a leading hub in the entertainment industry.
CM Revanth Reddy urged the External Affairs Minister to support the state government in successfully organizing these events under the “Telangana Rising” initiative. He also requested Jaishankar’s assistance in promoting Telangana Rising at India’s international programs and sought cooperation in diplomatic relations and logistical support to ensure the success of the state’s global initiatives.
Jaishankar praised Telangana’s rapid development and assured his cooperation in organizing these high-profile events in Hyderabad, which he acknowledged as a fast-growing city.
Former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, Lok Sabha members Dr. Mallu Ravi (Nagarkurnool) and Ch. Kiran Kumar Reddy (Bhuvanagiri), along with Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, were also present during the meeting.
