Hyderabad, February 7: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has accused the Congress government of failing to deliver on its promises, alleging that this has led to 420 farmer suicides in Telangana.
In a recent statement, KTR claimed that the Congress made “420 false promises” and provided “420 days of ineffective governance,” resulting in an agrarian crisis. He stated that Telangana, once comparable to Punjab in agricultural prosperity, is now witnessing a sharp decline due to the government’s inaction.
He blamed the crisis on the halt in loan waivers and lack of investment assistance, arguing that these factors have pushed farmers into financial distress. He further criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of negligence and urging the government to address the ongoing agricultural crisis.
